The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
-- 1 John 1:9
The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation is important in mending our "broken" relationship with God and Jesus Christ. It is not easy to confess, and many people, if not all, get discouraged to confess their sins. But Confessions are important! Within the Sacrament of Confession, priests are bound to absolute secrecy.
If you haven't been to confession in a few years or don't remember the Act of Contrition, please don't let that stop you from receiving this Sacrament of God's infinite mercy and grace!
The priests are here to help you and walk with you, no matter the difficulty and challenges that you might be dealing with! If the Confession times listed above are not convenient for you, please e-mail Fr. Dan (firstname.lastname@example.org) for an appointment!
Monday to Friday || 1 PM - 2PM || Earl Hall
Saturdays || 4:15 PM - 4:45 PM || Corpus Christi
ACT OF CONTRITION
O, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. I detest all my sins because of your just punishment, but most of all because they offend you, my God, who are all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin.
